Labels that survive the care laundry
Aged-care facilities require every garment labelled before admission — and commercial laundries wash hotter, harsher and more often than any home machine. Biro on a care tag is gone in a week. Our woven sew-on labels are the first choice: they are made for industrial machines and hot-water washes, and they last a lifetime. Satin sew-on labels are the next option. Iron-on labels are easier to apply and many facilities do use them, but they are meant for a cold-water wash, so they are the last resort for a commercial laundry rather than the first.
Labelling a whole wardrobe
With a dry iron set to wool or cotton and the steam off, a 40-piece wardrobe takes well under an hour. Use large, high-contrast text — laundry staff sort hundreds of garments a shift. Label linen, hats and glasses cases too.
