Fun DIY Projects During Quarantine


The Covid-19 pandemic has forced most of us to stay at home, and as a result, we are all looking for a hobby to take during quarantine while we’re social distancing. You do not need to be a DIY expert to pull off simple projects that can make a big difference in your home.

In this article we will help you to get some ideas and some inspiration, here are a few of our favorite ideas.



Gardening became an increasingly popular quarantine. Apparently, at this time of crisis, many of us are trying to become more independent. Do you have a plot or just a few potted plants, maintain and grow your flowers, herbs, fruits or vegetables that are actually profitable. Plus, a place you will smell heavenly!


Organize and declutter

Clean, organize, and get rid of the junk in your home can have a big impact. Take the extra time to fix the garbage drawer, closet, and maybe even your garage. Throw away anything that is useless, worthless, and set aside things you want to donate or sell. Bags, plastics, broken household tools, and empty boxes must store them in a designated room or a corner of your garage until you can get them out of your house. 


Upgrade Your Old Furniture

Whether it’s a long bookshelf or kitchen chair, showing some love for your furniture is often overlooked. Not only will it provide a fun project to tackle at home, but will also save you a ton of money on the purchase of new furniture items and let you customize your spacesuit.

Design Your Wall

The walls probably not the first thing you think of when it comes to home projects, but some updates can make a big difference. So, this is the time to put some art on your wall by using colourful birds family wall stickers for your living room or bedroom. 


Assess Your lighting

Lighting is one of the most important elements in the design, and the house we could go from cold and unwelcoming to a comfortable and warm just by swapping a few lights.

  • Replace bulbs – Go through the house and replacing that has gone out.
  • Clean your lamps – Sometimes the culprit for poor lighting bulb is not dead, it’s dirt.
  • Clean your curtains -can make the room feel brighter.


Clean Your Bathroom Drawer

This is another task we put off when we do not have the time. bathroom drawer we took a lot of abuse daily; after emptying the drawers you will probably find hair, spilled makeup, toothpaste, and so on. After the inside free of gunk, throwing garbage and reorganize what is left.


Label Your Household Supplies

Some labels can go a long way in creating a more organized household. Have a storage area or container in your kitchen pantry, under the bed, or in the linen closet? Using a household pantry labels works great if you have it, but you can also write on regular paper and ribbon on the label.



Most of us have a few cans of paint stored in our garage or backyard, from the last time we did a project or from when we moved to. Ensure that fits your current wall and then walk through the house and touch. up high-use areas, especially door frames, baseboards, and doors.

Clean Your Gadgets

There is digital chaos that can spruce up as well. Now is the time to update applications on your TV smart and clean out unneeded contacts, photos, and videos on your phone. Your computer will almost certainly carry a few extra pounds. Delete old mail and trash and unneeded programs and applications that you never use. Instead, what are the most important backups, such as photos, videos, text documents, and graphic design projects? You may end up with a better device running when you’re done. If nothing else, you’ll get a little more mental clarity if the junk e-weighs you down.


For Pets

Similarly, if you have pets and your garden can keep the smoke outside by making something for your pet. A new kennel for your dog may not be necessary, but it is not a reason to stop you from having fun. If you do not have a pet, you can make a bird feeder or birdbath. The presence of birds in your garden can be very reassuring, and not burden you with real responsibilities.


Spend this time doing something you enjoy. Do not try to do too much, but some productive DIY projects can make the time pass easily. Keep safe everyone and good luck!
