8 Helpful Tips to Clean Painted Walls

The funny thing about the wall is they are somehow wise. They are clear when you hang the bookshelf or paint it or straighten that crooked artwork.

Learn how to clean the wall with these simple tips and make it part of your regular household routine for more beautiful and healthy homes.

1. Determine the type of paint.

Semi-gloss or enamel finishes more durable than flat, stains or eggshells so they can stand for stronger cleaning products. Apart from the type of paint, always use a soft sponge than abrasive tissue to prevent scratches.

2. Delete dust and debris

Run the attachment brush your vacuum cleaner on the wall to clean the dust and other loose debris.

3. Protect the floor

Place the towel beside the pole pad to absorb runoff from excess water. Sponge struttings often when you work to reduce the number of droplets.

4. Work from top to bottom

The portions are visually from the wall and starting above, working with the way down. Be sure to dry each part with a soft towel to prevent the lines.

5. Start simple

The key is to use the softest cleaning solution that might still be effective. Start by wiping the wall with just warm water. If it doesn’t work, add the dishwasher into the water. For harder work, use a DIY solution from one-gallon warm water containing one cup of ammonia, 1/2 cup of vinegar, and 1/4 cup baking soda. Pour into spray bottles for easier applications.

6. Treat stains separately

Mix paste soda cake 1/2 cup and one-ounce water. Perform a patch test on the less visible wall. If it passes without water or finish blunt, apply paste into any stain. Use soft circular movements to avoid pain disorders. Rinse and dry as usual.

7. Use commercial products carefully

Some very stubborn cleaning work, they need additional help reinforcements. Search for solvent-free cleaning products that are environmentally friendly and non-toxic.

8. Follow Preventive Maintenance

After the wall sparkles again, take the prevention step to minimize the effect of dirt and stains. Periodically vacuum walls use a soft brush attachment, then discuss it with a broom covered with a fabric or mop sprayed with dust products. Treat fingerprints and other signs as soon as possible.
